Heimdal Kunstforening er stolte av å presentere den første duoutstillingen til billedkunstnerne Aleksander Johan Andreassen og Cecilia Cissi Hultman. Utstillingen er en totalinstallasjon med video, lyd, tekst, tegning, skulptur og foto hvor arkitekturen er en aktiv medspiller. I tillegg til en rekke nyproduserte verk vil utstillingen også vise et helt nytt filmsamarbeid mellom kunstnerne.
ALEKSANDER JOHAN ANDREASSEN jobber hovedsakelig med performance, film og installasjoner. Hans kunstneriske praksis veksler mellom egne film- og utstillingsprosjekt, og ulike samarbeid med andre kunstnere. Andreassen er opptatt av hvordan byrommets arkitektur og utforming påvirker hvordan vi møter hverandre, og hvordan kunstneriske intervensjoner kan generere nye møtepunkter. CECILIA CISSI HULTMAN arbetar med teckningsinstallationer. Associativt poetiskt och gärna med linjen som utgångspunkt för både micro-performance/video, fragmentariska textverk och sina till synes minimalistiska kompositioner av teckning som skulptur. Född i Sundsvall/SE och utbildad på Konstfack/Stockholm (MFA 2014).

Heimdal Kunstforening is proud to present the first duo exhibition by visual artists Aleksander Johan Andreassen and Cecilia Cissi Hultman. The exhibition presents an installation where video, sound, text, drawing, sculpture, and photography activate the exhibition space. In addition to a number of newly produced works, the exhibition will also feature a brand-new film collaboration between the artists.
ALEKSANDER JOHAN ANDREASSEN primarily works with performance, film, and installations. His artistic practice alternates between independent film and exhibition projects and collaborations with artists, practitioners, and professionals from film, dance, performance and theater. Andreassen explores how the architecture and design of urban spaces influence human interactions and how artistic interventions can create new meeting points. Andreassen is born i Bodø and holds an MFA from Konstfack in Stockholm (2015).
CECILIA CISSI HULTMAN works with drawing installations. Her practice is associative and poetic, often using the line as a starting point for micro-performances/videos, fragmentary text works, and her seemingly minimalist compositions where drawing becomes sculpture. She was born in Sundsvall, Sweden, and holds an MFA from Konstfack in Stockholm (2014).
